SKILL CAPPED UI GUIDE

SKILL CAPPED UI VERSION 2 STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

Welcome to our quick start guide for version 2 of the Skill Cap UI, the world's first zero compromise 2-in-1 PvP and PvE UI. To get started, we highly recommend using WoW Up to automatically download every add-on you'll need.

Start by going to the WoW Up website and downloading WoW Up with CurseForge. Make sure you download the correct one as our add-on list specifically requires the CurseForge version of WoW Up.

After installing it, you'll need to maximize the window to access all the relevant options. Next, if your WoW client does not show up, click on Add New and navigate to your WoW folder to add it.

We then recommend clicking on Edit, enabling Auto Update, and clicking Save. Then, click on Application and scroll down to enable Launch WoW Up with System and Launch WoW Up Minimized.

This way, WoW Up will always launch in the background and will automatically keep your add-ons up to date. Now, it's time to get your add-ons installed.

Start by going to My Add-ons and ensuring you have the correct version of WoW Up installed. You can also add a new add-on to your WoW Up system.

If you have a custom add-on, you can add a new add-on to your WoW Up system. You can also add a new add-on to your WoW Up system.

To install WoW Up, select your add-on from the drop-down menu. In this case, we wanted to only say World of Warcraft as this is the retail version of WoW Up.

Next, to ensure your current add-ons are loaded properly, click on the three dots on the top right and rescan your add-ons folder. Then, make sure any add-ons you already have installed are up to date by clicking on the Check Updates button and then clicking on Update All if any updates are available.

Once you've ensured any add-ons you already have are up to date, click on the three dots in the top right again and go to to import slash export add-ons. Click on the import tab and paste in our add-on list export string for WowUp, which you can either copy from our website or from our Discord server.

After pasting in the string, click on import and you should see our entire add-on list. Don't worry if you see any conflicts or any no changes.

This just means you already have those add-ons installed and this is why we made sure to update any add-ons you already had in the previous step. Anyway, click on install and wait a few moments for the entire add-on list to install.

You will know the installation is complete once the install button is no longer grayed out. And for one last safety check, click on check updates to verify that everything is up to date.

You'll know this is the case if the update all button is grayed out after checking for updates. And with that, your add-on list is ready and you can log into WoW to install the skill-capped UI.

Once you're logged in, click on continue to set the add-on list in game. You'll then be greeted with a menu to select.

You can choose to do just PVP, just PVE, or both, which is our recommendation. Do this by choosing your main and secondary content.

Don't worry about which goes where as this simply decides which UI will load when you first complete the installation. But as you'll see later, it's super easy to switch between the two.

Skill-capped members can also click on import to paste in their add-on code and unlock premium profiles for both the PVP and PVE UI. You can get your code on the add-ons page of our website.

Click on next to go to the look and feel section. Here there are a number of settings which customize the aesthetic of the UI and also provide some quality of life improvements.

Feel free to mouse over each option to read more about them and choose which you want on or off. And don't worry, it's easy to return to this menu later if you want to make further changes after installing.

When you're ready, click next to continue to the profile panels. Again, you can mouse over each profile to find out more about them.

You also do not need to install every profile if you don't want to. For example, if you would prefer to keep your own on the UI, you can click on the profile to see which profile you want to install.

You can also click on the profile to see which profile you want to install. For example, if you would prefer to keep your own on the UI, you can click on the profile to see which profile you want to install.

You can also click on the profile to see which profile you want to install. You can also click on the profile to see which profile you want to install.

You can deselect it here and our add-on will not touch your omnibar. Something new for version 2 of the Skill-capped UI is the addition of meta talent builds directly in-game for Skill-capped members.

These will be regularly updated and are listed on the talent pane. Now, if you chose to install both the PvP and PvE UI, you'll be able to click next to continue to the next set of profiles.

The PvE profiles panel allows you to choose which classes you want to install the PvE weak aura packs for. The class you are currently on will automatically be selected, but you can select more classes here too.

Again, you can easily return to this menu later if you want to install more class packs. Finally, click on install and wait for the installation to complete.

Once it's done, click on finish to complete the installation process. And just like that, you've now got a UI fully optimized for every content type you're interested in.

Starting with the PvP UI, here you can see the layout in action with our PvP specific add-on profiles and weak auras active. In order to switch mode, all you have to do is right click our mini map and click on the add-on profile.

You can also click on the add-on profile to see which classes you want to install. You can also click on the add-on profile and click on the add-on profile to see which classes you want to install.

You can also click on the add-on profile and click on the add-on profile. You can also click on the add-on profile and click on the add-on profile to see which classes you want to install.

You can also click on the add-on profile and click on the add-on profile to see which classes you want to install. You can also click on the add-on profile and click on the add-on profile.

And you'll seamlessly reload into our dedicated PvE UI, which has been perfectly optimized for dungeons and raids with Plater, Weak Auras, Cell, OmniCD, Big Wigs, and a PvE focused edit mode and smaller UI scale. Next, let's take a look at how you can customize which add-ons are loaded in either PvP or PvE mode.

Here we can see that we are in PvE mode, so let's customize the add-ons that we load in this mode. Press escape and go to the add-ons menu.

Here we can scroll through and see which add-ons are enabled in the current mode, which is PvE. Let's say we wanted to enable Gladius in PvE mode.

Simply enable the add-ons you want to load in the current mode and click the save set button. This will reload your UI and update the add-on list.

And as we can see here when we scroll down, Gladius is now enabled in PvE mode. Let's test this by swapping to the PvP UI, where you can see that we now have the PvP add-on list loaded.

Now let's swap back to the PvE UI. And yep, as you can see, Gladius is enabled.

Now, if we wanted to restore the current mode's add-on list back to its default, we can simply click on the default set button and this will restore the current mode back to its default add-on list, which in this case simply removed Gladius from the PvE add-on list.

Please understand that changing which add-ons load in either add-on list is not impacting their profiles. It only chooses which add-ons are enabled or disabled whenever you install.

Next, let's take a look at the options you have in the skill-capped UI menu, which you can access by either typing forward slash SC or left clicking on the minimap icon. First, we have the set profiles button, which should be the first thing you do to troubleshoot any issues you might have with the skill-capped UI.

For example, if your edit mode looks weird or your add-ons don't seem to have the skill-capped profile enabled, clicking this button will ensure that everything gets swapped to the correct profile.

You typically won't ever have to use this button, as this automatically happens for you when you install for the first time. There's also a button here called swap UI mode, which is the same as right clicking the minimap icon or clicking on the swap UI button on the add-on list.

The update SQW button can be used to ensure your spell queue window is set to 100 above your current latency, which is our recommended setting. This is also where you can re-enter the setup process.

You can do this to make changes to the look and feel section or to reinstall any skill-capped profiles back to the way they were when you first installed the skill-capped UI. You can also install additional PvE class weak aura packs.

Don't worry about any profiles in orange, as these just represent add-ons that are not currently loaded, but this does not matter if you are not reinstalling profiles for them. Please understand that if any profile checkboxes are off, they will simply be ignored and keep whatever settings they currently have.

This lets you re-run the setup process whenever you want, to update the look and feel section, to reinstall individual profiles, or to add more class weak aura packs without impacting anything else. So in this case, all we've done is install a few extra class packs, which we can see are now in the weak auras menu.

Finally, let's take a look at the restore backups button, which can be used to restore all of your profiles back to the way they were before installing the skill-capped UI. Make sure you first turn on every add-on with a backup, and then click on restore backups to get all of your original profiles back.

This allows you to install the skill-capped UI without risking your current UI. Note that our weak auras will not be deleted, so you will need to go into the weak auras menu and manually delete them after uninstalling if you don't want them.

You will also have to disable any add-ons you don't want enabled to restore the UI back to the way it was before installing our pack. And if you want to reinstall our UI again, open the skill-capped menu and click on setup to start the installation process once more.

With that, you're now ready to dominate with the world's first two-in-one PvP and PvE UI.
